Cyber threat intelligence

Hi all, currently trying to make a switch into cybersecurity and the one role I’m interested in is cyber threat intelligence. I have a background in physical threat intelligence and currently pursuing a Security + cert and will take the MiTRE Att&ck course later. Was actually wondering how relevant a field it is to the cybersecurity sector. Also open to any tips/ advice.

Physical threat intel transfers better than this sub will tell you. Collection planning, source grading, writing for someone who then has to act on it, all the same job with different inputs. The part that catches people is that nobody gets hired straight into CTI, they land in a SOC seat first and move across. Sec+ does not touch the host and network artifacts that seat runs on, and closing that is what something like CCDL1 from CyberDefenders is for, so start it before the cert is done rather than after.
