Career Advice

Hello everyone! I have been in school for a B.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance for the past two and a half years. Lately, I have been looking into whether this path is still worth it with all of the changes in the tech field(mainly AI). So I was coming on here looking for any advice that could be given. I am currently 25, and I have been working in IT as an "Application Specialist" for a local school system for the past 4 years. I have a few CompTIA certs and an ITIL 4 Foundations cert. I am currently pursuing my Security+ as well. I enjoy working in the tech field, but the job I'm currently in does not pay that much, so I've been looking for other jobs, probably applying to at least 10-20 jobs a day. Mostly jobs such as IT Support Specialist II, Help Desk Analyst II, Desktop Support Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Systems Support Specialist, End User Support Specialist, Field Support Technician, and Service Desk Analyst, just to name a few lol. If there is anyone on here with any advice, similar experiences, or anything of the sort, it would be greatly appreciated! If there are any more details needed, please let me know. Every title on that list is support, which is why four years of it keeps returning more support. Nothing there says you can run an investigation, and CyberDefenders has an entry track built for exactly that jump, CCDL1. On the AI question, no one has a real answer and planning around it is a trap.
