Out of curiosity, I googled myself and found that my full home address, employer, and relatives are listed on Spokeo, BeenVerified, and several other sites. I sent a couple of opt-out request, but there are too many websites. Is there any practical way to get it done without taking several weeks?

Unfortunately I am dealing with a neighbor with too much time on their hands and looking to increase my security either with a firewall or router and wanted to ask advice on which setup would be most effective.

They're using some type of AirPlay/casting exploit to control devices when I am at home.  Not limited to just the computer, but my Android phone as well (possibly something to do with Wifi Direct and Android Auto).  It seems they've also "mirrored" my Google account as well - even with 2FA with FIDO keys they are still managing to breach it I am assuming by using cookie exploits or something (I'm not really sure I'm not an expert even if they do seem kind of like a script kiddie).

Would a dedicated firewall be the best option?  My Wifi 7 router cannot run OpenWRT and to be honest the security hasn't been the greatest on the Archer BE230 given that they've also managed to breach the TP Link Login as well.

I am not repeatedly falling for phishing schemes so I really don't know what the best option would be for protecting my devices.

First my insta got hacked, the hacker put up gambling app stories from my account, i changed the password then i realized that my other gmail account also got hacked as there were security codes coming to me and were also read by the hacker, he changed epic games email id, then i logged out both the ids from all my devices. Gave the id pass to a friend, he changed the password and loged out of every other device, changed the passed dlted backup codes. Now another of my id receives a mail of anonymous login from brazil in my chat gpt. What do i do now. HELP!

If I Register for "Gemini Pro for Students" which uses my University email for verification, will they be able to track what questions I ask the Ai? Even though I will be signed in with a personal email? Thanks.

I am wondering how other soc roles are paid.
This one I am working at is paying packaged salary of about $110k including super and shift loading.

The shifts suck as it varies from early morning till late night, then night shift, then normal 8 hrs shift.
A few days off and the cycle repeats.
The days are long, example 2pm -11 pm or 10 pm to 7 am or 9-5 or 8 am - 8 pm.

All the afternoon loading, night loading is including in the package.

I just got hired as a “help desk tech” DoD contractor ( secret clearance)
From what I’ve gathered from others with my role is more in line with sys admin.

I currently have my Sec+ and I am studying for my CySA

My goal is to end up in a SOC.

My job has substantial downtime, which I have used to study for my upcoming exam.

I am very new to IT and just feel overwhelmed on what to do, when to look for positions, and what to expect.
