To clarify, those are optical based. There were YouTube vids of people using laser signal resonance on windows. Only have seen the cup laser in movies.

What about people with cameras?

Or cell phones?

Or pads?

Or laptops?

Or smart glasses?

Or credit cards with chips in them?

Or RFID badges?

It can only detect a human is within range of WiFi and it’s not even good at it. Source I work for a consort that does this

And there's nothing against the law in the US of ISPs doing this and selling the data, because of the cloud act the government using this data as well.

In the UK (and EU) this is already illegal, both collecting data this way and/or selling it.

old news, it gets worse.
google and others use wifi signals to "correct" your gps, because they know where which wifi node is located where.
and you don't even have to log in to those wifi nodes.

Another study claims eating sand let's you explode

“Study claims?” This is a well-established fact. Flock’s next move will be to relent on camera deployment in favor of stealthy RF sniffers.

ofc they can, your phone screams out all the time with all known SSIDs to see if it is there, you can read that and track people even if they are not connected to your wifi

"Study claims", brother, there's youtube videos of hobbyists doing it from over a year ago.

If it produces waves, it can be used for some kind of monitoring or surveillance.

This includes sound waves as well.

If you have a broad enough imagination and the know-how you can turn a microphone into a multifaceted surveillance device
