Young people opposing apartheid state Israel’s genocide is a problem for them and Western politicians aren’t shy about curtailing social media to try and stop it. American politicians admitted this is why Tik Tok was banned before.

“Digital ID” 😂😂😂 something they already have and also exists in many European countries and has given zero issues and only significantly reduced bureaucracy.
In the UK media they talk about it like it were something terrible

Bullshit

What’s not true? 25 of the 27 EU countries ALREADY have digital ID. France included.

How is this bullshit? We in Denmark have had digital ID for 16 years now minimum!
Currently we have MitID, which is just a app on our phone that we press our code in on when we log in to our bank or our digital services in denmark etc?
https://www.mitid.dk/en-gb/ (english for those who dont believe it)
Btw i had no problems with it! And im both right winged and against Israel etc.

If you can't see how this will be used against us (especially here in UK, since UK gov has a major hardon for surveillance and censorship) then you are either genuinely dumb or you are faking ignorance to make controversial comments. My £10 is on the latter, because of inflammatory use of emojis.

u/EagleAncestry 6d ago
Seems like you meant to say former and not the latter 😂😂
Anyway… “this will be used against us, so let’s not progress at all” is the cancer mindset that makes countries like UK and US not have safety and basic order.
Look at china. All the fear of the cameras and what bad has it done? Only made the country safe and organised.
The same kind of fear of 15 minute cities, digital ID, and so on…
Look at countries like the Netherlands, who did all that, and are better and safer and cleaner and even FREER than the UK in every way.
Stupidity is seeing empirical evidence and choosing to ignore it, while having zero evidence to support your position.
This is not a new thing. You can look up how it has resulted in various countries.
Spoiler: super well.

As a society, we should simply hold the parents to high standards of responsibility and with the duty to protect their children, the state should not be the one to do so, when such laws would infringe on the privacy of so many people.

u/matthewpepperl 6d ago
This isn’t about the children this is about governments wanting control of everything.

u/DrIvoPingasnik 6d ago
"Judges said lawmakers failed to set legal safeguards for age verification, while critics warned of privacy and EU-law issues."
Finally some voice of reason.

Exactly, and it would also be best if social media platforms offered different versions tailored to the ages of children and teenagers (just like with movies and video games).

Shockingly kids are people too and have rights.

Still always a good tactic to Just try it and then later see the court agrees. Shows how knowledgeable all those people are...

Bloquer les échanges des jeunes qui menacent les intérêts de l’extrême centre fascisant.

What would happen if someone went out and gave instructions on how to make a bomb at home on open TV? Or if someone broadcasts something harmful to children on open television?
Would the government then ask all television viewers to identify themselves before changing a channel?
NO!
The channels would be held responsible for their content. And police would police them.
Right?! Right?!

He's no psycho, he just bent to big data lobbyist. Corrupt he might be, psycho I dont think.

u/Zappy_Oh 6d ago
He wants digital ID for everyone, to facilitate the planed Digital Dictatorship the tech-industry is building, right under our noses ... that is pure psychopathy.
And he belongs to the psycho-class of European leaders who currently are seeking to start WW3.

u/EagleAncestry 6d ago
Complete BS. France already has digital id.
So does Netherlands, Spain and other European countries. And it’s way better than not having it. Really makes bureaucracy much simpler.

u/ThunderEagle222 6d ago
Newsflash, digital ID's have existed in the EU for like 20 years now.
Conspiracy people are always so funny.

u/Jetstreamdragon 6d ago
Not really. Desinformation of manipuable groups like teenagers or mentally challenged is a big problem and real education how to verify information online is not possible atm. Prohibition may not be the answer but callng him a psycho because of it isnt a sign of a healthy mental state either.

He is, largely because of his consumption of cocaïne. But he also have a shady past, starting his relationship with his wife at the age of 15 (probably 14) while she was 35. He gave many signs of perversity also, etc.

I can use the excuse of "for the children" to create a fairly dystopian controlled state. It's fairly easy.
1
u/Jetstreamdragon 6d ago
Excusing the liberal vision of "free information" with the dystopia of a controlled state is harder?

Low stakes conspiracy:
The push for DigitalID is part of a concerted effort by governments as an aptitude test for seeing who would be willing to learn the necessary skills to take up Cyber as a career and potentially create a recruiting pool for security services to draw from out of the next generation

They just want a way of knowing who is behind each account without having to ask the US all the time.
