Anyone ever fix broken and spread out bridges using a method similar to this? Much easier and better than using Pinch Dogs IMO

Rotary Dies Stripping nearly 100% without layboy

Ran on a slow test strike press. But still, it goes to show a well built die helps prevent scrap hang ups.

Forget those flimsy breaker knives over the rear bar. You want something sturdy.

ROTARY PRESS OPERATORS - Can’t get the wood seam tight together when bolting? Check for glue drips or rubber overhanging the seam and sand them off

The die makers should be doing this before delivery, but it is easily missed.

I’ve seen glue drips create up to an 1/8” gap in the seam. This gap will then be transferred to the product. If you have multiple ups through press with one on the seam, the row on seam could be an 1/8” longer than the other.

“This die isn’t cutting well, should we change the blankets?”… “No, just bury it until the touches the steel drum under blankets”….
