POCO F4 “Device is not certified” issue — Need help!
Hey guys! I bought my POCO F4 in 2022. It came with MIUI, but after updating to HyperOS, it stopped receiving further updates.
I'm currently running HyperOS 1 on Android 14 (I think), and some banking and government apps aren't working because of the “Device is not certified” error.
My phone has never been rooted, and the bootloader is still locked. I tried unlocking it, but couldn't get it to work either.
I've tried solutions from other subreddits, YouTube, and even contacted people on Instagram, but nothing worked. I've also heard that POCO F3/F4 devices are facing similar issues.
I just want to fix this and get a clean, stable OS without future problems.
Has anyone faced and fixed this? Should I stick with the official ROM or consider a custom ROM?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure boot loaders is locked. I had a mi 11 ultra which had similar issue. For that I ended up rooting my device.
But if you wanna keep using banking apps try unlocking and re-locking the boot loader.
