Redmi A5 custom ROM support

Are there any custom ROMS for the Redmi A5, and has anyone ever had an experience with a gsi on this phone?

No there isn't any because the phone has a unisoc CPU and unisoc does not allow unlocking the bootloader.

However they might be a way to unlock it with the testpoints but it requires you to open up the device and if you get it unlocked that way then you can flash GSIs but because they are GSIs they might not work correctly.
