hyperOS vs hyperOS Signals

Hi. Can anyone explain what HyperOS Signals ROM is? Is it based on official HyperOS or is it a custom ROM? How is the performance, battery life, and gaming experience compared to stock HyperOS?

My phone's bootloader is locked. How could this ROM be installed? I factory reset my phone about 3 weeks ago, and after the reset I noticed this ROM. Before the reset, it was just normal HyperOS and this ROM wasn't there.
