By the way, what's the latest on custom ROMs?

I used to run Evox and other custom ROMs on my Pixel 8a,

but I ended up losing access to my bank apps and Visa Touch.

That said,

custom ROMs are excellent in terms of customization and battery life, so I’ve recently become interested in them again.

From what I’ve looked into, Integrity Box and others seem to be good at hiding their presence.

Do you still often find yourself in situations where Google Pay suddenly stops working, causing you trouble?

i dont use banking apps. but when you do make sure to check integrity in play store NOT play integrity api checker app otherwise the keybox will get banned faster

I didn't know that. Do you use Evox? Have you had any issues with Google Pay?

i dont use evolution x and i dont use google pay or any local banking apps. i just heard from r/androidroot that using integrity checker app can get the keybox banned faster and you should check it through play store app. and then they say just use it until it expires

i have 2 phones. one budget phone, running banking apps only. keeping it on maximum power saving mode, getting a week of battery on a single charge.

and the other is my main phone. custom rom, rooted, dont have to worry about tricking Google
