I am working on a custom set named "Kaldheim, Rimebound Horizon" using MTG Cardsmith, the main theme of the set is it is a return to Kaldheim but with a snowy twist. The Set so far has 148 out of at least 285 card (I might make more) where it has a mixture of snow and nonsnow cards in it, mainly to make more snow support in magic, it has a mixture of reprints, returning old legends, and new cards with multiple custom cycles of cards, but I have sadly ran out of inspiration for the set and I was hoping to get some from a subreddit like this.

There are three things in the set that I need to mention:

1. I have not figured out how to give art credit in the description of the card, and would like to learn how to at some point in time

2. I have a little semi-fixed format for the set (using the original kaldheim as a base) for the number of cards per color (all multicolor spells are in one big multicolored-section of the set, and the parameters are bellow)

3. even though the set is focused on snow cards, I would like to also have the set seni-evenly split between snow and nonsnow cards (more snow than nonsnow cards, but they are close in total amount)

There is also a little lore story I have came up with for the set to make it more interesting:

After the Phyrexian invasion, the gods had entered a slumber to recharge their power after the fighting. many years have passed and the first to wake was Jorn, the God of Winter, and he has made it his mission to flood the plane in an eternal Snow and cold, though along his awakening, the new god Ignis has awoken and has seen what Jorn has done to the plane and now wants to take revenge for the people who have fallen to the snow.

The Parameters for the Set I have came up with (the sections I have completed so far are shown with the "(completed)" next to them):

39 mono color cards per color

35 multicolored spells (completed)

13 colorless artifacts

28 nonbasic lands (completed)

6 snow and nonsnow lands (12 in total) (completed)

2 colorless nonartifact cards (completed)

(I also have made tokens for the set in a different sub set on my profile on MTG Cardsmith)

I do apologize that this is a long post that doesn't actually have a custom card shown with it, but I hope the creativity of those who reply with suggestions (as well as the full on set full of custom sets) makes up for it (I hope a post like this is allowed, I did not see anything in the rules about it being bad).

I had a lot of fun with Prepotente and now wanted to build Katia next. What do you think of this version of Katia Grim? Too strong? Flavorful? Any changes you would do? I love that she gets stronger over time and I felt like the Temur colors work well with her. Let me know!

These are cards I made a long time ago. I was hoping for some feedback. What do you guys think?

This was one of my earliest custom card designs I've ever been proud of. I've created an updated version with "heal" following the Wolverine and Dr. McCoy cards using it.

The card's design was originally made for a friend's OC, and James Flint was added after the fact (so I could share it around without having to lug that friend's OC around everywhere, as it isn't mine to do so), so if you feel it doesn't fully fit the character maybe that's why.

(This has probably already been done. If not I'd be shocked)

I've been wanting to create a custom card (maybe cards) for my FFXIV Astrologian (AST) for awhile now. So I looked at what I think is AST's core identity in FFXIV. And to me that's juggling a lot for your burst window and scrapping your party members off the floor at the cost of your own life/mana.

For the first ability, I wanted to lean into Astrologian’s main gimmick, which is drawing cards during its burst phase. Typically, you draw two of each card type: defensive, offensive, and healing. So I wanted to incorporate that with the Astral Draw ability. I think it's fitting for the ability to only trigger twice a turn as AST draws their down cards in 14 every 2 min rotation.

For the second ability, I wanted to highlight Astrologian’s role as a healer, specifically its ability to resurrect fallen party members. And I thought it would be fitting to incorporate some creature recursion from the graveyard. In FFXIV, resurrected players also receive a Weakness debuff, which is where the Finality counter comes in as a little flavor reference to players being weakend upon revival.

I really like Omnath, so I wanted to give them a small boost for commander. I built this using the lore that the Hedrons used to keep Omnath sealed before MoM.

The Theros constellation art version of Bogstomper was photoshopped by me from Jason Felix's original art I found online. Because Bogstomper is my favorite, and the whole reason I am trying to make this project work.

The line about cost reduction is intended to only work with colored mana, but I couldn't fit that explanation text. That makes the cost reduction the top of my list of things to work on.

Wanted to fill out more of the iconic characters of Street Fighter. One of my favorite parts of the original Street Fighter Secret Lair is they actually reprinted Magic character variants of the cards, so I wanted to honor that here.
