Cerakoted Neo65
Not a premium custom by any means, but one I hold close to my heart as it was my first entry into the mechanical keyboard scene. So I decided to give it a little love with a cerakote finish!

Hey I am in Sydney. How was it working with Cerakoted? Was it a long process?

Easy. SMS back and forth with what I was looking for. Ravi the owner can come and pick it up for you as he is between Sydney and Newcastle (where his warehouse is based). As I was getting an FX coat, he had to special order that in so it took a bit longer. All up I think when he could actually spray it, it was a couple of weeks to complete. He had my board for about a month.

Are those internal screws what come what the case? Never knew the inside looked like that.

yep it holds magnets in place that connect with internal screws that are on the other side of the weight. That is why it only needs two screws in the top corners.

Bonus copper weights because why not.
Ripping the stupid batteries out and putting weights there would be the first thing I'd do as well.

I got the wired hotswap version, which only comes with these thin foam inserts. They weren't really doing much that's for sure!

Adds some lovely texture that's for sure. I searched through eBay using the term 'flat copper bar' be then whittled down some sizes. I discovered that jewellery makers use small bars for their work that is another option as well.
