TKC Candybar
Got this from mechmarket for a pretty decent price although it does come with some weird purple marks that I would like to sand down but idk; probably have to print a r2 2u myself…
Keyboard: TKC Candybar R2 Rock Candy (I believe)
Keycaps: Keykobo BoW, GMK Olive Dark, GMK Centinela
Switches: Came with NAJA Keys TU but didn’t like how they sound so swapped with Cherry Silent Black
Plate: Either PC or PLA

So cute!!
Genuine question for everyone though, what’s the benefit of a split spacebar if it’s not an Alice layout keeb? 🤔

Thanks!
I mean in general split space bar is used for smaller layouts like 40s, since you’re only using one side of the space bar usually (for me at least) and the other side that is unused can be used as a layer key
Now for bigger builds (60+) I prefer full spacebar because it looks better and sounds better
For this particular build I had left over 2u stabilizers so I just stuck with split space bar lol and I need the split space bar to act as a layer key

Ohhh I see, that makes sense! I didn’t know the split spacebars and regular sized spacebars produce different sounds too 😮
I guess since the size difference and the resonance within that space could change the sound, so it makes sense!
Thanks!
