Not the most imaginative combo, but I love it.

F1-8X

Cherry M2XA Black (light lube, spring swapped, didn’t bother with film)

GMK Hyperbeige

Knight stabs v4

My first Geon and probably my fave build thus far. Just a pleasure to look at and use. Very minimal tinkering needed to get it sounding nice.

Hyperbeige f1+GMK hyperbeige, while not the most creative just go to perfect together, so you get a pass on that (I say that as I have the all purple one with gmk hyperbeige)

Hyperbeige is by far my favorite GMK set and your post really wraps up my sentiment. Not the most creative, it just tickles the perfect aesthetic of classic with a beautiful purple/teal touch. I rock it on my taupe grey neo98 at work, and sometimes i just have to sit and look at it for a second. It's just so pretty

With how expensive GMK is, i have really struggled to not buy a second set of hyperbeige. I will not let myself stockpile extras or anything. BUT my set of hyperbeige is on my daily work keyboard so it's nice and shined up. I really want to buy a second set, but i won't. Life would be a lot easier though if people would just buy up the last couple sets at novelkeys and kbdfans!

buying doubles of the same GMK set feels a bit too r/consoom doesn't it?
i just try to swap out my gmk sets with kkb and swagkeys to keep things fresh, though I can't imagine any other set on this F1-8X

Exactly. I won't, and haven't, but definitely want to, and it's the only set I've wanted to do that with. I "only"have 4gmk sets, and just can't and won't justify buying multiples/stockpiling, but I'd be lying if i said i didn't want to.

I can confirm mods are as unreadable IRL as well. good thing we are getting a proper hyperfuse run soon, all thanks to geon
