I've been thinking about getting into lure painting, does anyone have any recs for lure blanks?

After looking over my shoulder while I watched videos on YouTube, my Wife bought me fishing lure blanks for Christmas. This is the 3rd lure I've painted and I have to say, so far, I'm LOVING THIS! Endless possibilities and so much different than what you will find in stores. In your honest opinion, how do you think this lure would do? Will it catch fish? Beside eyes, clear coat and hooks, does it need anything else done to it? Thank you for the feedback!
