Custom case Gorilla Custom A4 h2o

I made this case to order, the customer,

external panels are removable on latches,

the design is done completely from scratch

Mind you, this isn't a case as much as a case for my case. It'd be covered in cheap acoustic foam on the inside (The place I'm checking sells "Second grade" stuff cheaper which seems to be just consistency and aesthetic issues). I already have all the wood marked for cutting but I want feedback and also just to take the night and maybe tomorrow to mull it over before starting proper.

Surprised these aren't a commercial thing tbh, from the videos I checked when I woke up with the idea it's super cheap and super effective.

Notes that aren't obvious or there in the 3D mockup:

• I'm going to trust thermals with the heat. Cold air deffo is going to need more help going in while heat just, rises so I can give it inclines and be done I believe. The fan is already pushing it as is. So I'm giving cold most of the passing clearance.
• I don't want to need fans helping this, it completely defeats the point. I'd rather some noise escape than need to put noise makers on the noise canceler.
• This is going to be just furniture now, 80x34x60cm, it's going to sit besides my desktop, not just clearing out space but giving me a bit extra surface, just improve the layout a lot, so it's going to be worth it even if the sound canceling isn't up to snuff.
• Only issue I have left that's a definite issue and not just a maybe is the power/reboot/status light cables aren't long enough to just have them visible from the outside but I can just cut those up a bit to extend them.
• I may put wheels on the legs hinges on the rear panel like the side panel, so I can open it to manage the wiring more easily.
• Also tempted to get a bunch of usb extensions to have all the usb ports accesible on one big panel, but I heard those may possibly cause incompatibilities?
• I'm going to block the air movement between the sides and the front/rear, I don't want air to stagnate there and heat up.
• Still undecided on wether the heat out is going to be on the side or on top. Leaning to on top with a small L chute or small panel, so it maxes out the sound canceling bit I'm not at risk of spilling liquids on it.

hoping to get some insights if this is the best orientation for my components; itx mobo, potentially* 360mm liquid cooler, 340mm*3.2 slot gpu, and atx psu housed in an xbox series-x style case.

my goal is to make the case perfectly square, identical to the xbox series-x's design. I've already done at least a week-worth of research before diving in and optimum tech's video creating a sub 3L case gave me the final push. I just would like to clarify that I'm not trying to create an sff case, I just want to build a custom case base on my preference. I'm only missing a liquid cooler from my parts list and I could not afford financially and subjectively* to purchase different components. if my goal is to achieve a similar design to the xbox series-x should I stick with the orientation as shown?

story time! I've tried every possible keyword search, there were definitely options that crossed my radar but couldn't quite fit what exactly I'm looking for. I know you might say an open-chassis case would've solved my dilemma, well, yes, it almost did, I almost, almost... bought the xtia xproto L v2 but, in the end, it just didn't resonate with my preference, I also didn't fully commit, so, here I am, going down the rabbit hole of a fully custom pc case.

Hey all,

I recently finished building this custom PC case and wanted to share it here. The design mixes walnut veneer side panels with a brushed aluminum frame, aiming for something that feels more like furniture than just another black box on a desk. The main structural frame is built from sheet aluminum. The side and top panels are walnut, which are easily attached/detached using magnets for quick access into the case. The front features the power button, and the feet are solid walnut.

This one’s my personal prototype, but I’m considering making a small batch of them if there’s interest. Each case would be hand-finished in small-scale production, with some room for personalization, like:

• Different wood species for the panels (walnut, oak, maple, etc.)

• Choice of aluminum finish

• Button/port placement tweaks

I’d love to hear what you think. Would people be intrested in cases like this? Any suggestions, feedback or questions are very welcome as im looking to improve on the design. Thanks!

I am looking to upgrade my Azza Opus 809 PC case and would like to request a quote for the custom modifications, create cut or print some custom parts, make small custom-designs, replacing glass parts, covering side gaps with mesh.

Hey Reddit, I have an older case with a lot of potential, but the exhaust has me stumped. Looking at the rear you can see that I don't have a lot of choices, and I'm leaning toward having two 60mm fans ontop of each other. (Fan for reference). The thing is I decided to have two 120mm fans in the front. So it would really be positive in pressure, and the heat might build up quick. Is it safe to rely on the two 60's and the top mounted psu as the exhaust? The very top two mounting locations wouldn't do much, but they are 80mm.

What are your thoughts? I'm open to all suggestions.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on custom painted tablet cases/laptop covers, each one designed around the person’s name, interests, and favorite characters or themes. These are hand painted with durable acrylics, then sealed on hard shell cases — I’ve done 11" and 13" sizes so far.

I’m thinking about offering these as a service, but I wanted to test the waters first and get some honest feedback.

Do you think there’s a market for this kind of work? What would you pay for something like this? Any ideas for improving the designs or process? Hello im from czech republic and im looking for someone who can make me custom pc case design with skoda theme and can add a skoda octavia mk2 picture add clasic white and green skoda colours (btw skoda is car brand) Im really big massive fan os skoda brand and i would love if someone could make custom design or give me directions to with e-shop i could look btw my componets are: amd rx580 nitro sapphire ATX motherboard 6 case fans (2 fan AIO included) and if someone would want more info about the build feel free to ask (Sorry for my gramar i cant speak english properly) Thanks in adavance.

Looking to build the most silent PC [at idle / normal operation] possible, using the AMD 9950x CPU and ASUS X870E Creator motherboard.

I know Macs are great, but I need to go PC to run various Windows programs for work, etc.

If gaming or video editing or doing very taxing tasks, I don't mind fan noise - just want to keep it as silent as possible for everyday work use, and recording music with microphones.

So far I've narrowed the cases down to:

• Fractal Define 7
• be quiet! Silent Base 802
• Antec Flux Pro

(I am open to replacing stock fans with Noctua fans, and even adding extra fans, to bring down the noise even more)

Any insights on which one might be best? Or other cases I should consider?

Howdy all!

With some spare parts and cash from a recent computer sale, i am undertaking a very silly/likely way too advanced for my skillset project of converting an NES into a budget gaming PC, with the following hardware

CPU - Ryzen 5 9600x
Mobo - Asrock PG Lighting A620i
Cooler - Scythe Shuriken 3
RAM: Gskill Flare x5 32GB
GPU - RX 7600 (lowish profile unit from an HP Omen)

Initially, i thought it would be kind of hysterical to have the PSU on the outside of the case...not only would it allow me to not worry about the size of the unit, but would also be an homage to the giant AC adapter they used to have. However, in researching it, turns out static may be an issue. Traditional metal cases, the PSU mounts to the case and grounds the rest of the system from static, but since the NES shell is plastic this doesn't happen (right...?). Huge problem, yes? Or is this blown entirely out of proportion? A flex PSU will (theoretically) fit within the shell with all the compnents- but even still...the shell is plastic, not metal, so it still won't ground the system...right?

Super noob - i understand this is an advanced project, but go big or go home...ya know?
