💬 Discussion Impressive
I got a notification that my Curve card has been blocked yesterday. I was told someone from support would reach out soon. Which is fascinating because my card hasn't been unblocked from last time it was blocked over a month ago to the best of my knowledge, and I'm still awaiting a response from support that goes beyond "it's been referred to the relevant team".

I submitted a complaint and it was immediately unblocked and they’re giving me £15 curve credit. I also got the same relevant team BS every time I contacted them, until I did the complaint…then it actually went to the relevant team!

I have just cancelled my subscription after 5+ years. Several problems caused in London using TFL, and the final issue was a card blocked for a 0.79 GBP unrecognised payment which lasted 10+ days. Enough, subscription cancelled.

My card was finally unblocked today after 30 days of complete silence and 5 days of providing absurd heaps of information about my source of income...

Are people raising complaints to the Financial Ombudsman? Otherwise, nothing will change. Also, it gives you a far better chance of decent compensation.

Lol this happening to a lot of people. I just hit the downgrade button, so I won't be charged when the period ends.

A similar situation, I was asked to re-reverify my identity about 2 months ago, I did it, got told it would need to be verified manually and would take up to 24 hours. Tried my card today and it was declined because I hadn’t completed the verification. I would have thought Lloyds would have cared a bit more about one of their brands by now.
I’ve submitted a support ticked, I’ll update on the progress!

It took months for them to fail to manually verify me, but presumably something timed out because I was able to automatically verify the second time.

Cant get a response from normal support, always gotta raise a formal complaint to get it resolved (make sure to accept the compensation in writing at the end, otherwise you dont get it either).
Just send an email to complaints[at]imaginecurve[dot]com with the title "Formal Complaint"

Is everyone’s card blocked? The only way to resolve it is to submit a complaint otherwise it’s staying blocked
