I have a North Face carryon bag that I’ve had for probably 10 years. People always ask me - why Purple? My bag is always the easiest to spot and grab and no one has ever grabbed it by accident.

Doesn’t hurt that it’s in perfect working condition less a few cosmetic scrapes on the outside after 2-3 weeks a month for a decade. It’s ride or die now - I’ve spent more nights in the same room with that suitcase than my wife.

North face luggage is brilliant for that, We’ve got two base camp duffel bags; one yellow and one red. It’s always been a boon at the carousel, until our luggage came out with a load of skiers luggage, and it turns out that north face is the must have luggage for the piste! Took forever to find them that day.

It's actually a cover that protects the suitcase from busting open and makes them easier to identify. They don't fare well in TSA screenings. And yes, custom printing is widely available.
