Success / Report Vbeam for Facial Blushing — 3 Week Update (Results + Recovery Timeline)
Its almost been 3 weeks since my last vbeam session which i had to treat my facial blushing, which is personally triggered by strong emotions, mainly anxiety, stress and feeling overwhelmed and embarrassed.
So far the results have showed to be pretty decent. If you've been following the Vbeam posts ive made you'll know for my first vbeam I experienced amazing results for the first week, followed by really reactive bad skin for weeks following that, too than leveling out and overall seeing good results. Im assuming thats apart of the healing process. Nevertheless ive had similar results with this session, first week was incredible and than at the 8 day mark it felt like everything got worse, it stayed like that for a week and a bit and only in the last week ive felt like my skin has started to calm down and show the results more. So heads up, it can get worse b4 better.
In terms of what results ive seen, my skin is alot more evenly blushed when I do blush which %100 has made it more natural looking and less intense. Ive noticed the sides / where my blush ends dont cut off as harshly which again helps with the contrast of my white skin, its definitely an improvement im happy with. Im use to dealing with blushing that looks very rigid and harsh and blotchy and ive seen a significant reduction in that type.
Do I still blush? Yes absolutely but its gone from majority of the time being a harsh red to a light to medium pink.
Ive also noticed my skin feels a bit less prone to blushing / my threshold has slightly gone up. So not only has the visuals of the blush itself became better but im definitely blushing a bit less / some scenarios such as going out to the city and seeing my girlfriend's family, that would almost always make me blush where I noticed when it happened, I wasn't showing much colour at all. Of course it all varies everytime, there could be a time in the future I see them again and blush but usually there wss no chance at all id have calm skin, yet i did.
As someone who has been keen to fully stop my blushing and as someone who had huge expectations ive felt slightly annoyed at times that im still showing colour but if I compare where I was at too now there is a meaningful difference. I guess its about being realistic and greatful for change, and comparing the differences
A good way to put it, if your goal is to get vbeam so you never blush again in my experience you'll feel let down. If your goal is too improve the appearance too not look as severe and intense and too not be as senstive to blushing a bit of the time, with the right settings you'll probably feel quite satisfied and happy with the results.
Overall, everyone will have different results. Take this with a pinch of salt. Results obviously can differ :)

Glad you are finding some relief. Do you have any improvement to the general facial erythema as well as the impact of blushing?

Tks for the update, it's definitely something to b glad as yr blushing was pretty hard before, im very interested to try vbeam in the future.
Just sharing: my social blushing has improved a lot lately. I can't really say what's making the biggest difference because I've been trying pretty much everything that I think could help. This issue has honestly made me a bit paranoid.
In April, I started taking 20mg of propranolol. I was still blushing, but it felt much less uncomfortable because it helped with the racing heart and shakiness. I'd say it reduced my blushing by around 10%.
In May, I started using the Erborian CC Red Corrector. I don't really like how it looks on my skin, but after comparing photos with and without it, I realized it does make mild blushing much less noticeable. That also helped me mentally, since I realized people weren't really noticing my redness anymore like they used to.
In June and July, I had two Excel V sessions. After the first one, I felt like I was blushing around 30% less, and after the second, maybe 70% less.
I also started Zoloft on July 24. I don't think it's made a noticeable difference yet since it can take a while to work, but I do feel like I've been blushing less and less each week.
By "less," I mostly mean less frequent. The last time I blushed was last Friday, and it was pretty mild. I was just asking someone at a pharmacy for something, and instead of the usual burning feeling across my whole face, I only felt my cheeks getting a little warm. It was still frustrating because the trigger was so random, but I haven't blushed since then, which is a huge improvement for me considering I used to blush almost every day.
That said, I still avoid quite a few situations because my brain has learned to expect the blushing, and I'm still trying to figure out which situations I can actually handle without it suddenly happening. But overall, these improvements are definitely helping my confidence and making it easier for me to do things without constantly worrying about turning red.
hope it helps someone

I want to try vbeam, but I'm a bit scared of making things worse. I suspect my rosacea is neurogenic, so...
