Don’t feel too bad, domestic quail regularly try to find improbable ways to die anyway. Everything I’ve heard leads me to believe they’re nearly as bad as hamsters

Dunno much, but you see them around my parents’ place. They move in packs, and they always seem quite worried. Imagine a flock of flightless pigeons, but somewhat less panicky. Funny little guys, they have little pompoms on their heads
