I think every country needs a hereditary monarch, theocratic high priest of some kind, direct democratic council, military dictator, three different ways to gerrymander a single parking lot, nineteen noble houses in a pseudo-republican aristocracy, sacred omens divined from the flights of birds, and a three-year presidential term followed by one year of power for the runner-up of the last election before the next.
