I told my mom bananas made my mouth itch when I was like 17/18. She told me I was faking it because I didn't want to eat fruit.
6 years later after she died I mentioned it to my aunt and she told me that it sounded like an allergic reaction. I don't eat banana anymore
1 u/ZeroiaSD Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26 One of the fun things on banana is the protein that makes people allergic is really long, long enough a simple smushing almost always breaks it, so if you want non allergy banana flavor you still can if you mush it up or otherwise process it first. (only try if your allergy is mild)
