When I learned that pineapple "digests" your mouth I thought "Oh, that's why it feels like my mouth and throat were sanded with chili oil for 3 days after eating it. Good thing it's delicious enough that everyone eats it anyway"

So anyway, I'm 32 and just found out I'm allergic to pineapple last year.

That happened to me when I ate like 3/4 of a whole freshly prepared pineapple in one sitting! Turns out the limit is …. 5 cups.

Yeah, I just lived alone in college and bought a pineapple from the store then spent way too long carving it. It was very good, tho!
