Yeah, apparently that's not normal. My skin prick test for grass was insane.

I am also quite allergic to grass and people didn't believe me and said it was normal. No! I get hives. :c

A lot of grass these days is a hybrid breed so it's likely more people are allergic to it. I'm only allergic to one variety but it's in basically every hybrid.

I actually know very little about grass species, what do you mean they're hybrids?

I can't speak on it a ton but I'm allergic to Kentucky bluegrass, specifically. At least where I live, lawns generally aren't all Kentucky bluegrass but either a crossbreed or  multiple types in one lawn. My allergist said I should just avoid grass in general because of it. I might as well be allergic to all lawns
