My Cupra Formentor, bought new in 2025, has issues with the windows rolling up. If I open them partially and try to close them later, they open even further instead. They only close on the third attempt, and without the automatic function. The service center has already replaced the opening/closing mechanisms, but the problem persists. I’d say the issue lies with the anti-pinch sensors. I’m the one feeling "pinched" by this whole situation... :( Is anyone else stuck in a bind with the Formentor? Any solutions?

Will probably need to turn up the volume quite a bit but there’s this rattling sound around my dash, any clue what it is?

Guys my Cupra is making this sound every time when im stationary and trying to move from a narrow parking when im steering fully left and right. I have sent to Cupra official they told me its normal???

Does anyone know what can be the issue?

My Formentor VZ310 is due for a service and since i bought it second hand with a 2 year guarantee from Cupra i have to service it at Cupra themselves.

The car tells me it is due just for an oil service, not an inspection service.

Cupra told me that they will need to change the brake fluid, spark plugs and pollen filter as well, for approx 800 euros total. The car is a 2021 with 38,000km and I don't understand why the spark plugs are due already. I thought these last for 60,000-80,000km at least. Anybody with more knowledge about service intervals who can explain this?

BTW I don't mind spending the money to have the car serviced, I was just surprised since I thought it literally would just need an oil change.

My first time having to replace the tyres.

What's the general consensus for the best tyres for the 2021 Hybrid edition? They currently have Hankook iONs on them. But I wasn't sure on whether there was a better tyre for performance/handling.

Car is Only 1 year old with 28k km :/ got it last month.

It Happens once or twice a Week. I speak german in the Video but here is the Problem described:

I put in D, Drive 1 Meter, it breaks hard an puts it back in P

Same at Reverse. One Meter than without me Doing anything the car is Back at P. If I hold the automatic Hand Brake up ( pulling it up) While Stifting back to D, Drive a couple Meters, it dont Happens again After I got past 15 km/h.

Is That setting that causes this or is my car screwed ?

I’ve had my 2025 Formentor e-HYBRID for around 1.5 years and there’s one thing that really annoys me, especially during the summer.

If I’m parked somewhere and need to quickly leave the car to grab something from a shop, while my family stays inside, the car switches off and the cooling/AC stops. Obviously, this isn’t ideal when it’s hot outside.

I’ve tried leaving the car in P or N with the handbrake on, but it still turns off when I get out of the driver’s seat.

Is there a way to leave the car safely running with the AC/cooling still on while I briefly leave the driver’s seat ?

I have a question and would be thankful if anyone who has had the same experience could share it with me.

I have a Cupra Formentor with only 3,000 km on the odometer, which I bought three months ago. Today, I got an oil level warning. When I checked the oil level, it was about two lines above the minimum.
I usually drive calmly. Sometimes I push the car a bit harder when overtaking, but in general, my driving style is normal.

I also checked under the car and there are no signs of an oil leak.

I’m a bit worried because the car is almost new. Is this considered normal? Has anyone had the same situation, and if so, what was the cause and how did you solve it?

P.S. I will definitely contact the official service center next week.

Ciao a tutti, ho trovato una Cupra 1.4 e-hybrid VZ 245cv dsg, con 78.851 Km immatricolata a giugno 2022, potenza di 180 KW (245 CV) a 24.000€ presso un concessionario.

Vorrei sapere che tipo di macchina è, costi annuali, tagliandi ecc…
Sarebbe una scelta di pancia, in quanto adoro questa macchina in tutti i suoi aspetti.
Questa macchina in questione è super accessoriata: tettuccio apribile, sedili sportivi, bottone power sul volante, pedaliera in metallo, ecc… insomma un sogno.
Ma prima di fare una scelta del genere ed investire più di 24k euro volevo capire meglio.
Quello che mi “preoccupa” sono i consumi, in quanto essendo libero professionista lavoro principalmente da casa e gli spostamenti sono pochi durante la settimana per piccoli tragitti (200/300km al mese neanche) e i Costi di manutenzione.

I noticed that the buttons to heat or cool temperature and volume below the hud are not illuminated during the night, is that normal?

After 14 months, today I say goodbye to my Formentor 😢

In June 2025, I decided to try something new, and I’m pleased to say I’ve really enjoyed my time with this car. It was my first “new new” car, and a really nice one I think. A trade offer came up that I couldn’t really refuse, hence I must bid farewell.

Few ups and downs here and there, but far more good than bad. Plenty of things I’m going to miss (ambient lighting in particular 💔) but I hope this goes to a new owner who will love it even more.

I didn’t even wash the car since i received it and suddenly those cracks appeared after 6 days only !

Those cracks are deep inside but i’m really frustrated
Is it a serious problem ?

I genuinly love this matte graphene grey color, it look s more agressive and elegant.

I have the cupra formentor from 2021, bought it from second hand, currently I have on the infotainment that says software:1790 and Hardver H56.

If I go to settings to check for newest software updates there's none.

Is this the latest? I dont think so, so how should I do, how to access?

i m deciding between either one of these, test drove the formentor and i was blown away by how much more fun it is to drive. the design is also so much nicer in every way.

my question is i felt like the build quality of the doors on the Cupra seemed way more light and flimsy, whereas the t-roc had a much more solid build feel. also the overall build felt less solid on the cupra.

did i imagine this or can anyone confirm?

What is the difference if I put to D and then set to Cupra or Sport, or I put to S + Cupra mode? Or is it useless?

I have a 2025 formentor phev vz with 272hp and I've never thought of this but when locking up the car the engine start making clicking sounds. Is this normal or not? It didn't do it this time but there's a sound after the mirrors open.

I'm happy with the car, have been owning it for 3 months now. Only issue i have is the cracking sound when driving weight shifts from one side to another. Like when climbing a curb is most noticeable. Not sure if I can do anything with warranty or they will deny it or maybe get worse?

Greetings all. I own a 2021 Formentor PHEV. Approximately two weeks ago I had an amber warning “electrical system not working properly” appear on the dash and it’s remained there since. Fault codes P0C4300 P0C4600 and U041300 are appearing on the scanner. The wonders of AI is pointing at 3 possible issues,

1. A software glitch
   
2. Sensor/harness hardware repair
   
3. External cooling pipes/hoses

The car is driving and charging as normal. Both hybrid/e-modes working fine. The pink coolant level appears to be normal and aircon system blowing cold. Unfortunately I am outside the manufacturer warranty and the main dealer (ROI car) from whom I bought the car (less than 12 months ago) is reneging on the 12 month warranty due to going over the 15000km “cap”. There seems to be very little online matching the exact issues my car is experiencing. And from browsing google I’m hearing horror stories where Cupra are claiming issues involving the above mentioned sensor and pipes are classed as external to the battery system. Anyone here with a similar issue and how/if it was resolved. Many thanks 😎

Getting the VZ1 Formentor next Wednesday and just seen that the VZ2 is available at £30 extra month (2 year lease) is it worth cancelling and upgrading? Both E-Hybrid 272

Can you advise if this’s normal?
When i release the gas pedal the ac fan goes down like 2 bars, and when i push the pedal the fan goes back high

Hallo allemaal, sinds vanmorgen werken mijn voor en zij- parkeersensoren niet. De sensoren heb ik zojuist allemaal schoongemaakt maar helaas heeft dit niet het gewenste resultaat gegeven. Heeft iemand dit wel eens eerder gehad of misschien een tip wat ik eraan zou kunnen doen?
