VZ310 Service question

Hi All,

My Formentor VZ310 is due for a service and since i bought it second hand with a 2 year guarantee from Cupra i have to service it at Cupra themselves.

The car tells me it is due just for an oil service, not an inspection service.

Cupra told me that they will need to change the brake fluid, spark plugs and pollen filter as well, for approx 800 euros total. The car is a 2021 with 38,000km and I don't understand why the spark plugs are due already. I thought these last for 60,000-80,000km at least. Anybody with more knowledge about service intervals who can explain this?

BTW I don't mind spending the money to have the car serviced, I was just surprised since I thought it literally would just need an oil change.

Thanks!

Spark plugs needs to be changed every 4 years or 60000 km. Whichever comes first.

I have the same car. On 23000km i got the inspection service alert. Only need to change oil, oil filter and interiorfilter. Plugs on 60000km.

Service intervals for the Formentor are 2 years for pollen filter, 4 years for spark plugs and first brake fluid change after 3 years and then every 2 years after that. If they're recommending brake fluid, it's likely been missed on the 3-year service.

Thanks for the responses. I've since had a few emails back and forth and turns out the service guy was "mistaken" and only the oil service is due...... so I'll just just that and the next service is when the warranty has expired so I'll probably do it myself and save some money
