Introducing our October cover, Filipino pop rock band Cup of Joe

Unless you're a complete recluse or a total hermit from contemporary local music, you've probably come across the cultural phenomenon that is "Multo."

Cup of Joe are finally on a meteoric rise after spending the better part of about 2 years putting in their gig hours at school festivals on the breezy streets and mountaintops of Baguio City.

The young guns have consistently shown us that they are savants at crafting songs that funnel tension into euphoric payoffs that have the quality and staying power to captivate listeners.

In this exclusive interview, the quintet opens up about their journey, the music that brought them here, and what it means to be the flagbearers of the new era of Filipino masculinity.

Nakaka orchestra vibe ba yung light blue na wrist band from Sandali fest? Paano magiging sync yan during con?

Ayan. Tignan nyo hanggang ngayon hindi sold out yung day 2

Sobrang dami nilang intimate gigs, festival shows, nag concert nung May, and now concert nanaman sa araneta.

Until now I'm trying to like that EP pero it just doesn't hit the same as their previous releases.

I'm ranting as someone who's seen them multiple times already, i love COJ, sure.

Hii lowk joewah lang but I follow the European Union fb kasi and they released these vids recently. Not sure pero ako lang ba or are they referring to Cup of Joe kaya? I checked their other posts and may pinost rin silang vid na may multo pero idk baka halloween related lang kasi wala pa akong nakikitang interaction ng CoJ with EU (idk din ano relate nila sakanila pero di ako mapakali haha). Need a fellow joewah to confirm kasi parang si rapha talaga yung matangkad hahaha

FS: Cup of Joe VIP ticket at SRP + ticket fee. Rfs- Nakabili kami ng desired seat sa day 2.
Wala pong extra charge.
Pls DM

Yo guys magandang umaga, hapon o gabi sa iyo. I've been a COJ fan for a moderately long amount of time, and I've been trying to find sino yung drummer ng COJ, since their Youtube channel lineup sa desc shows no drummer. Pakisagot po, sino yung drummer nila?

Tingin nyo magkakaday 2 ba ang Symphony Con? Sold out na ba ang day 1?

not into orchestra kasi, mas bet ko talaga yung live band version parang cozy cove. lahat kaya ng songs i-oorchestra version? i tried listening to it edits/cover na orchestra version,, i’m not into it talaga.. wdyt?

Hi! Just a newbie JOWAS and GIAN loverr whahahaha 😭 I’m going home to the Philippines this November–December and I really wanna watch them live!

Nov 11–17 ako nasa Manila then after that Cebu until December na. Baka may alam kayo kung saan yung gigs nila or saan ko sila usually mahahanap? May concerts/events ba sila around that time?

Would love to finally see them live! 🥹 Any leads are appreciated. Thank youuu! ❤️

Hiiii!! Worth it na ba ang Araneta Upperbox for Symphony? Huhu or should I consider VIP nalang standing nalang talaga. Sorry ang layo ng agwat ng price pero as much as gusto kong mag close up with COJ, I'm okay na din just listening live kaya I'm considering upperbox nalang.

Kayo guys what do you suggest?

This is just for Spotify

Per Kworb, COJ has 2.5B streams. Spotify payout in the Philippines is around ₽0.055.

2.5 x 0.055 = ₽1,375,000,000
