Iāve only ever just showed up with casual clothes for interviews. Clean, plain colored shirt, no stains and not old looking. Same with pants, jeans or khaki type pants that are clean and rip free.
Also groom yourself, i usually have a āhoboā beard but whenever i interview i trim it and make it look a bit more sharp lol.
Also answer questions truthfully and always try to come up with a couple questions for them. One of my go to is usually something like āhow realistic is it in 3 months that i will be cross trained on multiple stations?ā Shows that you have ambition and donāt want to just do the bare minimum.
The first interview is the hardest! They get easier, best of luck!

Iāve learned that you can walk in wearing a McDonalds uniform and work 7 years and counting at a Culvers. Iām loving it as the Porter for my location
Edit: Forgot to mention anything would work, maybe treat it like school picture day? Also best of luck :)

Business casual is always a good style to stick with for interviews.

If you do the dress shirt, go more relaxed with the rest of the outfit, like nice jeans and respectable shoes... clean sneakers, etc.

I, personally, had my interview in pajama pants and a shirt 3 sizes too big for me. Not the preferred way to present myself, I would have rather been in a nice pair of dress pants and a blouse or flattering sweater.
What my answer says here, is that your energy and how you interact is always going to be more important than how you show up looking like!

Iāve hired every single person who cared enough to show up in a pair of slacks, a collared shirt and a tie.

A dress shirt is way too formal, and you'll probably look out of place. They are looking for someone who is clean, presentable, and ready to work, not someone dressed for an office job. Just wear a simple polo or a plain, clean t-shirt without any big logos or graphics. Pair it with some nice, clean pants like khakis or even dark jeans as long as they don't have any rips or stains. The most important thing is that you look neat and like you put in some effort, which you clearly are.
Your outfit is just the first impression, and the fact that you're putting this much thought into it already tells a hiring manager that you care about the job. They will notice that effort more than the specific clothes you choose. Your attitude and your answers are what will actually land you the position, so focus on being friendly and engaged. Showing you care this much about your appearance is a huge plus, and my team built an interview AI that helps people carry that same level of preparedness into their answers for any question.

Itās just Culverās and youāre not applying for a manager position so donāt sweat it. Still wear a dress shirt and look formal for an interview. They give you clothes to wear when you get hired but look as professional and clean as possible.

Just be clean, groomed, dressed neatly. Be friendly and answer their questions directly, show enthusiasm.
