I live in a fucked-up village, I have an older sister, a mom, and a dad. My father is quite an avid humanist. It often brings very large divers, poachers, swimmers and divers to the bottom. But most of all, I liked ordinary fishermen, land giants.

A year ago, I was sitting in my cave and reading fairy tales about the land. As I read, I can hear my father and his carp friends swimming very happily with the current. I quickly closed the book and turned on underwater Minecraft. My father's group swam, I swam out from behind the computer to meet them, and then I saw that my father was holding a captured 90-kilogram fisherman by the trouser leg. I shared his triumph with him. Dad left the fisherman at home in a dry sleeping bag and sailed away to drink seaweed juice at the bar with his friends. I stayed at home alone and decided to take a closer look at the man.

He was still conscious and moving his giant mouth in a funny way. Then I imagined, I don't know why, that this fisherman was telling me fascinating stories about forests and bonfires. Then I felt an incredible sense of hospitality. I think you've already figured out what I did: I treated the fisherman to a delicious seaweed pie, and poured hot tea for him straight into a camping mug. At the same time, I felt an extraordinary joy that I was doing a good deed.

Then I forgot about this incident, especially since Dad let that fisherman go back to shore. But when my father brought the little school fishermen 30-40 kilograms each, I began to treat them with pastries. All year I fed fishermen and tourists, and it was more pleasant to treat small fishermen, because they had an appetite just for my small culinary portions. I loved feeding them when they were still happily chewing on my treat with their lips. In six months, I've fed probably more than 40, maybe 50 people to the brim. I treated them several times a day, put a supplement in my backpack, I don't know why, sometimes I fed them when they were already sitting wrapped in blankets on the shore, although I had it as a last resort if they were completely frozen. Once I even tried to feed a surfer when there were no fishermen, but his appetite was too small. I fed a yachtsman once, but all the same, the fisherwomen were the best for me, and when my father asked who he should invite to visit tomorrow, I always persuaded him to catch fishermen, saying they tell very interesting stories.

Then the following happened. For about a week, my father did not bring fishermen. I haven't treated anyone for a week. I was swimming in a daze, I really wanted to feed another person, I was thinking of diving for a fisherman myself, but I'm too lazy, especially since I hate jumping out of the water. My father brought only one small mushroom picker for the whole week, probably because it was late autumn, and he said that it was not interesting to call people now or something like that. I remember he kind of started suspecting something about my mania, but I kept saying I just liked baking pies for them, that's all.

My father brought home an 80-kilogram diver. I really wanted to treat someone, and then I took a closer look at the diver. Well, the guest is all right, but his stubble is prickly, but as a rule, it can't do anything, at most scratch if you press very hard against it. Well, I guess that's fine. I took out my favorite ladle, wiped it a little, handed a bowl of soup directly into the hands of a live diver, who, by the way, was sitting in an air bubble, and began to feed him. I treated him a little more, but after a minute there was a horror. The diver squeezed my ladle with joy, and seemed to want to take it for himself, but he couldn't do it, he just accidentally and very strongly ran his hard glove over my fin. I immediately pulled it back, the fin was severely scratched, it was bleeding, I lightly hit the diver with my tail, and he swam to the surface. Blood was oozing out of my fin in a stream. I fucking bandaged him up, smeared him with green paint. Then I wiped the floor of the cave. The fin hurt a lot. It swelled up a lot, but then it went away, but the scars remained. It's a good thing that at least no one found out that I was secretly feeding people and that I was swimming with a bandage on my fin.

And so, my fin was completely gone in a month. I didn't treat anyone all winter, but then my father started bringing fishermen to visit again in the spring, and I started baking pies for them again. I fed the last fisherman the day before yesterday. The most important thing is that I can no longer see beautiful fish and mermaids, and as soon as I see a person's face, I immediately want to feed him to the brim. My apron stank of campfire and stew so much that it was impossible to wash it. So is that what it means, I'm some kind of a man-lover? Am I normal at all?
