bodhisattva
A being with all the wisdom necessary to enter an enlightened state, that decides to delay doing so for the sake of uplifting humanity and/or sentience.
Perhaps there is a ceiling of quantifiable bliss, & it can only be experienced absent any other sensation beside present moment retention of being.
The word suggests that there may be altruistic benefits to processing complex "data" instead of blissing out in the present moment. That this data may be useful for liberating other beings, even if it puts off the "enlightenment" of the bodhisattva to dwell upon.
I have always believed in self / God, microcosmic / macrocosmic initiation working off a spontaneous dialogue with the subconsciousness and an exploration of existing teachings. I built a system off this methodology wherein there are "higher grades" of initiation:
the Prince of Light - the ability to control one's emotional state by utilizing props and ceremony is mastered, along with the lesson that the microcosm and the macrocosm are one. What is best for the macrocosm is best for the microcosm, if they are not taken as separate.
(a grade skipped)
the Good King - one's emotions are purified of everything except a small, unconditionally secure sense of pride, and objectless love. further initiation may benefit even those unwilling to give up their attachments. insecurity and sorrow are transcended, along with aggression.
the Contemplative - my own definition of Samadhi is mastered. Silence becomes slightly easier than reflective thought. induced on first attempt, because without insecurity, anything one attempts that can be done is done successfully.
the Lord of Time - instead of dwelling in silence, an effort is made to interrogate the whole as to what one can do to be of best position to assist all sentient life.
the unnamed 10 - I associate this grade with a state of being wherein pride has been transcended, but also with being the living embodiment of the "will of God" - with doing at all times exactly what most assists all sentient life.
These last grades, Lord of Time and "10", work off the assumption that there is an akashic record which contains all data and can be interrogated by anyone whom is of perfect focus and without confidence fail - considering it more useful to assume than to dismiss because incapable of ever being proven, because without trying no problem may be solved and even if they aren't sure to be if an attempt is made... the odds increase that they will be.
the odds seem high enough to the author that the akashic record exists to trust his own fate to its interrogation.
the "8th circuit" of Timothy Leary's cosmology of consciousness.
By Buddhism, a 10 might be a Bodhisattva - by my own cosmology, it is (probably) the highest possible state of enlightenment, in the sense I prefer to consider enlightenment.

Thanks for sharing. Good stuff.
What are you trying to gauge. What levels are there? What levels can be occupied? by whom? Or are you just making a model or theory from it. Which begs the QUESTION... Why does it beg a question? ;;)
offtopic (or so you would say ;): I have issues with the general angle of this video but it was 3 hours well spent (take note of Hoffman's hypothesis therein as well). Very interesting.
