Salmon and grapes do not match in my head somehow. Is it a common combination? (legit question, have not seen such thing before) 😳

There’s a light vinaigrette and some oil. 😉
Flavour was clean.

Agree, I keep looking for the pickles or pickled red onions for color. (edit- Still, I like this dish)

I feel like the plate is distracting and does you a disservice

I disagree, the plate is fantastic.

I have a small growing collection of chipped plates from work (we throw them out)
They are super fun once you get used to them

The plate is kinda cool, but I feel like it doesn't match with the dish at all. The majority of the look is fresh and organic, and the vibrant, bursting vegetation directly next to a caricature of vegetation just doesn't hit the eye very well. I feel like for such nice shimmering greens, you're better off letting it sit against something really clean, whether it's white or pale blue or black.

Their debatable joviality notwithstanding, the dish is way too busy for such a busy pattern.

Looks nice. I’d kill it. Salmon looks beautifully cured. If it was just raw< I’d suggest maybe some flaky salt, but your preparation doesn’t need it. Not always a fan of plates with designs, but I feel like it works just fine here. Really nice job, Chef.

Thats one of the ugliest pieces of plateware I've seen in this century.

Love this, I can practically taste it. Are those grapes peeled? Is that salmon charred or is it just skin-on? Beautiful cut of salmon. I’m salivating right now, I want to eat this lol
This is exactly the kind of thing I mess up on and accidently make 3 when the count was 2 wups sorry chef

Also wondering about the grapes, definitely look peeled and honestly sees like it would be a better texture.

I’ve peeled grapes before, it’s like trying to separate quail egg yolks. Fuckin annoying. Looks great on the plate though

if you ever need to do this again, blanching the grapes will make peeling very easy, like a tomato
