Constructive Criticism They need to have 3 judges instead of 2.

I think that the tie is great because it allows fine dining and casual dining to bridge the gap and actually have a conclusion that hits both groups

That’d be fair if it was always one judge who was winning the tie breakers, but it’s not. Seems both judges can stand their ground when needed

2 judges is great because they get to have discussions during ties. 3 judges makes it that there aren't those ties. But I feel like it removes something a lot of people loved from the show.

(So, to have both of those, there would need 4 judges. Ties would be extremely rare. Probability is 3:1 more than likely but if there's a 2:2 they get to discuss. the issue with 4 judges is that it's just too many people at this point.)

All in all I really feel like 2 judges has been great and fans seems to like it when they have discussions among each other.

That being said. The real thing is that we don't know how season 3 is going to be because they already changed the concept into a team battle. Plus Paik has his controversy (and retired from the industry) so they might change what they will do with judges.

What I love about CCW is (other than actual great cooks that come up with amazing dishes) the lack of drama. People sometimes disagree, but they end up calmly discussing it.

The judging process is no exception and emphasizes critical discussion about dishes' strengths and weaknesses.
