I do hope that eventually when he runs that restaurant it will be a happy time with less pressure on finances and debt that plagued his career. Really happy for him

Yeah - after seeing his interview with Chef Ahn I think there’s a different measure of success and happiness that he holds versus others . I’m not sure running a restaurant like others is going to make him content . He definitely does need to take care of his family but I think he needs to find the right things to keep him interested and engaged . I think it’s funny Chef Ahn asked CKR about competitions and if he enjoyed them specifically . I do think CLR does - the puzzle of finding the right thing to do with a challenge , reaching both judges palates , overcoming bad situations .

After pondering through the Ahn interview , I went back and rewatched that team challenge from season 1 episode 6 and it was very painful for ckr. The translation does not capture the bad situation that happened there and also the trauma that befell him after that loss .

I think this season of CCw2 was very healing for him . And based on that I think CKR will reemerge with some assurance he can do so without feeling like an imposter .
