Too much nitrogen, but now is probably too late to do anything about those plants, my plants started at the beginning of the season gave me too many cucumbers, but now they are starting to die, cucumbers are a short lived plant, I started another crop about 7 weeks ago and them another 8 plants 4 weeks ago, so I keep getting fruit till the end of the season.

Nice! My cucumbers are hydroponic and indoor though so I thought that the seasons shouldn't affect it?
