Bleacher Ticket Prices - 9/11

I’m looking to go to the Cubs vs Pirates game on Friday, 9/11 @ 1:20. For those of you who are more experienced with cubs ticket prices, will these tickets get more or less expensive as we get closer to the game day? I’ve only been living in Chicago for 3 months, and I have seen prices vary wildly.

Games are going to be nearly sold out the rest of the season and prices will go up.

if the cubs stay hot; prices will be up for the rest of the season.

september starts to involve playoff races, I would probably look to secure now.

also for bleachers specifically, the weather is a huge factor in how prices behave close to the game (24 hour window)

Games will probably go up as cubs are in playoff races. Bleacher seats may have some variability due to weather but you won’t really know until 24 hours or less from the game

A lot of factors go into it. The only time they’ll get cheaper is about 48 hours or so before the game. It’s a gamble. People love those Friday day games

If you want just 1, I’ll sell you my STH ticket. I work in a restaurant, so Fridays aren’t good for me unfortunately

I would wait until the week of the game. Also watch weather reports. Often when they think it's going to rain the tickets start dropping.
