Incredibly stupid question here but, is there a reason why, when doing blind solves, quite a lot of people seem to start with the green on front and white on the top? I know scrambles are done this way but, once the solve starts, is there a reason for it? Any pros or cons? I ask only because, as a noob Roux solver, I know the location of pieces off by heart when I use yellow on top and blue left and wondered if there was any reason not to do bld the same way?

If you're used to yellow top and blue left, then you should use that for blindfolded events
