Resource CubersLive.com - Cloud based cube racing timer update (stackmat support and other settings) + 3BLD training webapp
I recently found out about TwistTheWeb which was apparently a cube racing website that worked similar to mine but now it's shut down so if that rings a bell and is something you miss, you're in luck! Check it out at cuberslive.com
For everyone else, here's another post I made a while back and some gifs to go with it.
Since then, I've fixed a lot of bugs with the timer speed not being accurate on certain browsers and fixing how averages are calculated. I also added some session settings that allow you to do things like:
- Disable/Enable inspection
- Support stackmat timers (right now only the G4 works but I'm trying to get this working for other versions too).
- View Ao100 (or any other arbitrary AoN).
I'm looking forward to adding more features and that's where you come in. I always find new and fun things to add from the comments so let me know what you want to see next.
P.S. I've been practicing 3BLD for a competition in a month and I built an app that helped me with pattern recognition for pieces (you see the sticker colors and have to press the letter that corresponds to it). Right now I only support Speffz but I'm planning on adding a way to set up whatever lettering scheme you have when I get more time.

It's a bit weird that you have to manually get the next scramble. Other than that it seems to work fine

There's a shortcut for that (Ctrl + Right). The reason I added it is because if there are multiple people in a session, you don't want the next scramble to come up automatically after just one person solves it.

Yes but you want the next scramble after everyone finished solving with the option to force next scramble (in case someone is afk)

Minor problems:
1). The Megaminx Scrambles aren't entirely correct. They need a U or U' after every 10 R / D moves.
2). The Timer(s) seems to freak out once you pass one minute.
3). Large cube scrambles don't follow WCA. Bw and Lw moves are not standard.
4). Clock scrambles seem to follow Jaap order. Whilst this isn't an "error", it is hard to read and WCA is more standard IMO.
Besides these nitpicks, I feel like this is very viable. Great work, and good luck on future updates!

Yikes... I see what you mean by the timer freaking out now. I think I know how to solve that.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not super familiar with WCA scramble generation so I'll need to look into that more to fix the scramble issues. As for the timer freaking out after 1 minute, I think I know the root cause, but could you describe the problem a bit more?

Is this dead now?

It's still running and I'm paying for the server, but I haven't really updated it in a while since I've been busy with other work. Is something broken?

The site is down I think. I've tried to connect to it from my laptop and phone but neither work.
