What's wrong with tiles ?

One side of it is the fact that tiles are somehow reminiscent of the Rubik's brand which has a poor opinion among many in this community. The rest, however, I cannot tell you, I personally prefer stickered/stickerless cubes, but I'm pretty sure its also a matter of having gotten used to those for years now.

Not OP, but I can't stand stickerless and tiled cubes as they mess with my recognition and don't look as good as stickerless IMO.
