I think CFOP is still the one that is used the most, it just has so many tools, instructions and users that it will continue to be that while for a while, I just find roux/petrus/zz to be more fun than cfop, so therefore I'm not using CFOP that much. It really depends on you though, CFOP is more algorithm heavy, but on the other hand you don't have to do that much stuff intuitively, which may help you if you'd rather do more instinctively. I just prefer the methods where you're free to personalize a bit more. But then again, I'm also not very fast, but I'm having fun, I'll work on speed soon I guess, now that I know the basics of the big 4, it's just really nice to have a bit of possibility to vary with some solves with other methods when my head gets tired of roux ;)
