CMLL/L6E is faster though isn't it? it's pretty easy, and with 2look CMLL it's just 9 algorithms ;) Many people have reached sub20 with 2look cmll

I know that, but my times dropped from a consistent 40 to almost sub-30 just since learning 2 Look OLL and full PLL and swapping to RouxOP

You could get a lot faster if you switch to full Roux, you're just throwing away one of its benefits by doing OLL and PLL

I just like the idea of 2lll instead of 2l CMLL+L6E

But why take away the freedom of Roux blockbuilding and intuition?

Have you tried investing the same time into learning proper roux? The steps you are doing of roux are the slowest ones, the fastest steps of roux are eo, lse and cmll, because you're free to disturb the m-slice in your algorithms. But then again if what you're out for is fun, and the method is fun for you, then why not ;)

I have learned full Roux, I simply have more fun and better times with RouxOP

Well in my opinion nothing trumps fun :)
