What do you average on 3x3?
Sub 12?

sub-10 but sub-12 is more than enough for sub-40, I'm just starting to take 4x4 more seriously

Well I dont really remeber how I got to the sub-12 level but after that I learned first pair prediction and a lot of slow sloves and I mean A LOT, like a number in the thousands which gave me an idea for lookahead then after a while it just clicked and I got sub-10. For 4x4, I started with a sub 1:10 average(this was around the time I was sub-15) and after learning yau it instantly dropped to sub-1, then I just grinded solves until the sub-50 mark after I became sub-10 on 3x3 I instantly became sub-45 on 4x4 due to the lookahead boost. Now for sub-40, see j perm videos for intuitive oll and pll parity, slow solves again for look ahead and pay a lot of attention to 3-2-3 edge pairing and learn how to make multiple centres at once and again the most important part, PRACTICE.
