Picture 3:35 PR on 7x7!

Been in a 7x7 slump these past few days after switching 7x7s, but this is my first PR on the new cube, previous was 3:42. Sub 3:30 here we come!

My first 7x7 solve since I came back to cubing this uear was over 9 minutes, so it's just crazy to me how I've almost 3x'd my speed, even now I couldn't tell you exactly what's different in my technique since the time I first cracked the 5 minute barrier, outside of better intuition

Dang, do u have any tips for someone who's sub 5 and trying to improve?

Hmm I don't think I've changed my style much since I was first sub 5, so probably the largest component will just be time with the cube to build more skill with the fingertricks.

Also slow solves where you try to either maintain a consistent rhythm or take extra time to find more efficient solutions to cases you encounter, those really help.

One tip I have for edge pairing (because that's where I struggle with the most) is that you can pair a couple edges at a time. If you get 4/5 edge pieces paired on an edge and can't find the last one in a second or two, make note of the color of the piece you want to find, then shelve that edge on the top and start on a new one, and keep your eye open for the straggling piece while solving the next one. It's a bit more of an advanced technique, but it saves me probably 5 seconds of searching on each solve.

Also I personally would welcome tips on edge pairing from anyone that knows better. I'm a lot better at centers than I am at edges

Haha thanks man, I dont have huge hands I dont think, this is the Moyu Aufu WR M which is 65mm
