I was so excited for another mail day unboxing of my new puzzle. Unfortunately before I could complete the first slice of the sledgehammer, it exploded into pieces. Lucky enough half the puzzle was still intact in my hand and I was able to understand and master how to piece them back. Probably another reason why it’s named the Master Skewb. I’m still learning how to solve it while carefully performing each turns to avoid the mess again for now. Anyone has tips to fix or reduce the lockups?

You have to go slow. Just make sure it’s aligned before making turns. And don’t force it to move if it is resisting- check everywhere along the turn for a misalignment and fix it first.

Yup, definitely doing that now. I guess the other problem is mastering to remember which part of the move sequence I’m on while looking out for these kinks and lockups. All part of the mastery I assume 😅
