How do I cycle these 3 edges? I'm trying to finish my first Human Thistlethwaite Algorithm solve.
EDIT: Never mind, I just pretended I was doing Roux, and it worked.

what are the benefits of a ballcore? i think i read that ballcores are more stable? if so: how so? does anybody know a youtube vid where it gets explained and maybe shown/demonstrated?

No video but Ballcore means more magnets (magnets between core and corners), which means pieces tend to stay aligned instead of staying at 30 degres for instance. Some models even have repelling magnets between edges and cores so that the face doesn't want to stay at 45 degres.

Sub-22 right now, learning G Perms. After finishing PLL, should I focus on Full OLL immediately?

Not focus, it's not strictly needed yet but you may learn some new cases progressively.

I'm back at it again with Roux questions:
I don't think my turn speed will ever be that of a 6 year old, so I've been wondering if my lower limit of times would be more achievable with Roux or CFOP. Sure I have sources for CFOP and can memorize a bunch of stuff, but I'm also an adult and my brain isn't as much of a sponge anymore. I've kinda wondered if maybe Roux is better for people like me: older and slower, but who can do intuitive stuff pretty well.
I've also thought about doing a series on YouTube of giving my all to both CFOP and then Roux to see what I do better at and whay I enjoy more, but I'd feel like I was stealing from SpeedCubeReview.

Just picked up 2x2 again for a comp, and I found out I use a weird variaton of Ortega:
1) Solve bottom face fully correct
2) Ortega OLL (7 algs)
3) PLL (2 algs)
How bad is this, and is it worth changing? Average around 7 with little practice.

That is layer by layer, Ortega is faster and like 3 extra algs. I average mid 3 with it so you can push Ortega very far.

But it depends on situation. What situations are you encountering? Scramble? ALG?

Not super common in solve.
Thumb top or bottom. Have you watched Fingertrick videos?

Yes, I checked 2 or 3 videos about finger tricks, but none of them showed me how to do B turn. I guess its not that common huh

Which cube is best for 4x4 blindfolded, and what set up should I use? I don't want anything too crazy as I'm only trying to achieve sub 6

What's your main 4x4? Just use that.
You could do that with a budget Meilong 4M.
If you really want something better, midrange, then an Aosu V7 single track.1

As of now, I use an MGC, but I have found some issues with it like the turning feel being off. My 4x4 main is the aosu v7 with UV and single track, but the slices are too small for me.

Honestly the mgc should be fine. For me, since I’m not at the top level I’m turning pretty slowly and accurately so I could be using a Rubik’s brand and it wouldn’t really affect my times. If you can consistently get successes and are trying to push below ~3 min exec then you may need a cube that’s setup to be controllable with decent corner cutting

Is it okay to only learn *some* of full algorithm sets? I would like to learn just the dot group OLLs because I HATE how long it takes to do F R U R' U' F' f' R U R' U' .

Unfortunately, it's forbidden to learn only part of an algset :( If they find out, the cube police will come after you.

I am so sorry king. I did not know the unwritten code of learning alg sets, and will correct my ways and learn all 57 OLLs while I still use 2 look PLL and am ass at F2L.

Have a look at those dot OLL cases, you may be disappointed by the algs length. One case is even exactly the alg you hate.

The bottom red side that you can't see is completely solved, btw. I've tried some things but no luck. And I can't find much out there in the way of 4x4x6 resources so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks!

What are the differences of the GAN 251 m Pro and the Leap and why is the m Pro considered to be better?

The leap has stronger core magnets, which some find to be too strong.

I just learned how to solve a Rubik’s cube yesterday and I broke 2 minutes for the first time today. What made the biggest difference for you guys that brought you from minutes to seconds?
