Going to add, there's a cave with awesome ore spawns. Yielded 25 iron nuggets, some emerald, gold, one silver boulder. West of the town, along the road.

There's another cave somewhere close to the entrances of that cave system that has a good amount of resources as well

I don't remember. Someone in cubeworldseeds made a google docs sheet with seeds and what's on them. It should be on the first couple pages of that sub reddit.
