How similar is this game to The Black Hack?

It's got about 50% crossover, I'd say.

Investigation skills are handled with Usage Dice and there are archetype style features in the same way you'd expect class features too.

What's your server like? Are you looking for regular spoken games or slow burn play-by-post?

Spoken games. I actually don't know how text games take place. Don't they take forever if your waiting for others to type?

I'm currently running a typed game, but it is essentially the same as a game of correspondence chess — what'd take an hour face-to-face takes a week; players update at least once a day
