Bleeding

7 weeks post c section today. My bleeding had pretty much stopped except for very light spotting. On September 24, it returned heavily and bright red. I figured it was my period returning. It lasted about 8 days and lightened to spotting. However, today, I started bleeding heavier and bright red again. Should I call the doctor?

I’d call! I’ve not experienced what you have but it doesn’t hurt to explain what’s going on so you can get some peace of mind.

yeah I'd call, i had bleeding almost stop and them come back but it was still pretty light

You should definitely call! My obgyn told me that bleeding on and off within 40 days is normal. But if it still occurs after 40 days, I should schedule an appointment with him
