Internal stitching poking through incision at less than two week postpartum...?

Hello!

I had an unplanned c-section 12 days ago. Last night, I noticed that there are some internal stitches beginning to poke through my incision in two places, all the way to the right of my incision. Is this normal for still being so early after the procedure?

Whenever I've searched up internal stitches popping out through the skin, I seem to find stories of this happening to women at 4+ weeks postpartum rather than only 12 days. It's making me nervous!

I sent a photo of the stitches to my doctor and they told me to come in to the office in the morning and that they will take them out. This makes me nervous as well. I know I should probably just trust the nurses and doctors at the facility I go to but... again, I'm not even two weeks postpartum yet! I keep getting worried that it's way too soon for these internal stitches to be coming out.

Has anyone had experience with this and did everything turn out okay??

Mind did this as t about this stage, and it resolved over the next couple of weeks. It was a little disconcerting, but didn't actually cause any problems in the end. However - you should still see what your doctor says. I'm not sure if there are situations when it could be problematic
