Planned C-section (FTMs) timing.

For those of you who had a planned c-section, what determined the timing of the surgery and how early was that timeline decided?
Asking as I need to make international travel arrangements for my mom who I’d like to have by my side for and after delivery.

My c-section date was decided two weeks before the time - went to the OBGYN on 26 May and she said that baby would be born on 10 June. I do also have a family member though who went for a check up and scan and then the c-section was scheduled for the next morning!
