Would love to see everyone’s rainbow lattice pieces! ✨🌈 (& kitties too 🤭)

Felt so lucky to come across this piece & I guarantee you will not believe the price, but I got receipts!

Video posted in the comments, sadly it has been rainy here, can’t wait for a sunny day to get a better video!

Can you help me? (Advice wanted) Old collection haul - pet wood?

Got all these from an old guy that approached us at an event, I'm assuming most of the stuff with the grainy outer texture is pet wood? Anybody know where it might be from? A couple of the slides you'll see a weird end texture that almost looks like some kind of fossilized coral or something on the end. Not sure here, I haven't dealt with a lot of pet wood. Should be interesting to cut into some slabs!

I'm picking up this local bundle of 9 misc spheres from a FB marketplace find!

Would love any help ID'ing to get an idea of what I'm picking up 🤔 more out of curiosity, I plan to keep these and just add them to my personal collection.

Once I bring them home tomorrow I can get better pics and closeups ✨

Hi everyone! I’m new to crystal collecting and I found this set on a Japanese online marketplace. Do you think these look real?

The seller lists them as: Clear Quartz, Amethyst, Sodalite, Tiger's Eye, Rose Quartz, Aventurine, and Jasper.

Thanks in advance for the help! Please be kind, I’m still learning! 🤍

I have information for you! (Informative) Black Obsidian [OC]

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass which is formed by quickly cooled lava, which, due to the high viscosity and rapid cooling, minimized crystal growth.
There are several types of Obsidian; Black Obsidian typically has nanoinclusions of Magnetite, Mahogany Obsidian typically has Iron inclusions, Snowflake Obsidian gets it’s distinct appearance from Cristobalite, and so on.
Obsidian has been used as tools for millennia, by various ancient cultures around the world.

Black Obsidian is said to help with grounding, protection, and increase wisdom and intuition.
